    • That is not true, as a pakistani i am aware that Malaysia’s situation is much much better than Pakistan, the low number of cases you see in Pakistan are because of little to no testing done on large scale, Malaysia is doing large scale testing and vaccine rate is one of the highest in the world right now.

      • Lol @ Aroofa
Stop spreading misinformation when you can’t do any good. You were asking if your brother could skip the quarantine and we can’t even request them to lift the ban? What are you high on?

        • No, my brother is fully vaccinated and i have asked if there will be any chances of home quarantine, do not misquote people when information provided is the bitter truth.

    • The Economist ranked Pakistan third best in the world for returning to pre-pandemic days just behind New Zealand and Hong Kong but Aroofa Ahmed (haven’t heard a more fake Pakistani name than this) probably knows better.

FYI for you pea sized brain, here is the link https://www.thenews.com.pk/latest/860816-covid-19-in-pakistan-pm-imran-khan-elated-over-the-economist-ranking

Also considering you’re spreading fake information, your account should be banned and reported not only to EMGS but to the Pakistan Embassy along with Amna Baloch (Pakistani Embassador) to ensure that Genuine students are not hampered by a self hating liberal troll.

      • Reads one news article and tells someone who has lived in Malaysia for 4 years and also during the entire pandemic that their information is incorrect, You people read something that inconveniences you and start bullying people, have some patience, who gives you people the right to bash the Malaysian government for putting a travel ban? Pakistan is currently depending on vaccine donations from other countries. Pakistan is one the travel ban list due to not one but many reasons, don’t personally attack people, but what more can be expected, Have patience, students here have been yearning to meet their families and students from All 5 countries on the travel ban are suffering the only difference is they’re not bashing the Malaysian government, learn some ethics and be patient.

        • Nobody is bashing the government. Everyone here is politely requesting them to lift the ban at least for the vaccinated travellers. As students from countries with higher positivity rates are allowed to travel to Malaysia, South Asian students also deserve to pursue their studies when they’re even willing to quarantine. Stop turning this into a useless argument. The world has learned to live with covid, and so should Malaysia. This endless halt to economic activities is not only affecting us, but Malaysian citizens as well. The rise in suicide cases is evidence enough. Good for you that you’re living in Malaysia for over 4 years, but learn to be a little more responsible when it comes to representing your country. Peace out.

          • I’ve represented my country in Malaysia in ways that were my responsibility as a Pakistani, i don’t even owe explanations to anyone, but you come here try to misquote me and try to argue with me on the basis of something that is a harsh reality for you people to accept, you want to make a change? try making a petition than crying out on an application used for visa related things, if they’re not helping how about you try this for a change? how about create social media pressure? so much for responsibility from “good” representatives of Pakistan. Economies work the way governments in each country wants, you as a foreign student have no right what so ever to question the rules implied on you as per Malaysian law, we’ve lived by accepting this not by trying to fight people for stating mere facts. Have a good day.

            • Requesting them to lift the ban is by no means “fighting the government”. Our futures are at stake and we have every right to inquire about something that directly affects our lives. We’re all going through tough times, the only thing we can do is to be kind to each other rather than making things more difficult

      • As many here just read news article rather than reading research thesis on matters related to covid and try to bash government of other countries while Pakistan is having Elections in Kashmir and covid is spreading immensely, here’s an article to please your pea sized mind
        https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2021/07/23/malaysia039s-vaccination-rate-speeds-past-the-us

    • Agreed @ Waqas Ahmed
I also read that economist report which published fews days back. Alhamdulillah Pakistan is far better in terms of recovery and vaccination rate.

      • with only 3.5% of total population vaccinated with 2 doses in pakistan, and with over 40% people already gotten their first dose in Malaysia and with over 23% population fully vaccinated, you’re comparing their statistics with Malaysia? based on one article? Malaysia currently has the 4th highest vaccination rate in the world and pakistan is no where near. So relax guys, things will get better soon.
