0. Apply visa renewal first if validity below 3 month and wait for 50% / Immigration need your passport ( if more than 3 month you can skip this )
1. Apply on this link https://visa.educationmalaysia.gov.my/guidelines/travel-authorisation-form-base.html
2. Just put an “Expected date of arrival” not the real one is ok ( Note please buy the plane ticket AFTER the approval from the immigration)
3. If you have a new passport please write down your new passport number on New Travel Document and please when you will be travelling to malaysia please bring the old passport and the new passport (if no please skip)
4. Inform your institution about your returning to the Malaysia so that they can approve your application from EMGS and state that you already apply the travel authorization
5. wait for the approval and approximately 1 month + (since the immigration capability is less than 50% and expected delay will be occurred)
6. Download your travel authorization if already approved / 100%
7. apply SEV if your student pass expired with the Travel Authorization (if not expired please skip this)
8. Buy Plane Ticket ( NOTE: TRAVEL AUTHORIZATION LETTER ONLY LASTED FOR 90DAYS)
9. Book Quarantine before arrival for 14 Day’s ( You can find this topic on Facebook and you could find Malaysia Quarantine Support Group for your guidance
10. PCR Test 3 x 24 hour before flight (Must be on english)
11. Do Quarantine
12. Study Again

Note : Before Departure please print all the document such as Travel Authorazation and pcr and other’s

Please be informed that all international students that intend to enter Malaysia must submit their application to EMGS through the Travel Authorisation form available on the EMGS website. Kindly refer below for the steps to submit your application through the Travel Authorisation form:

1) Students are first required to register an account at https://visa.educationmalaysia.gov.my

2) Once an account is registered, the student may proceed to request the travel authorization via the same website. Please ensure that you read the ‘Travel Advice thoroughly before clicking ‘Apply’

3) Students are then required to enter the passport number and nationality. The student’s details such as the full name, institution name, course name, and application ID will be auto-populated if the student fulfills the requirement

4) Select the country of origin, and port of entry. Fill-in the flight details (flight number, departure and arrival date and time) before uploading the flight ticket in PDF format

All applications created by students will be made available to educational institutions. The applications must be approved by the institution before EMGS begins processing the application. Once the processing is completed, the application will be submitted to the Immigration Department to obtain the approval of the Director-General of the Malaysian Immigration Department. Upon approval, students will be able to download an approval letter through the application tracker on the EMGS website.
