No need for the original Val. You have to present the eval to the immigration department at the airport. I suggest, however, you mention your nationality, in case your fellow citizens will advise otherwise. As far as I know, the eval will work. Ask your university about the representative. In my case, I went to the university on my own.

Hi Hemantha,
You are required to download and print the eVAL. At the point of entry you need to present the printed color copy of your VAL. Institution representatives are required to be present at the airport upon your arrival. We advise that you liaise with your institution directly for further details.

For me it took 18 days. I launched my application 14/12/2018 and got eval jan 3rd.

Mine was just 3 days difference than you but still on 15 percent. Sigh.

Congratulations on the approval of your application. If you are from a country that requires a Single Entry Visa (SEV) to enter Malaysia you are required to proceed to the Malaysian Embassy in your home country and apply for the SEV upon receipt of the eVAL.
