Please note that the travel authorization has no validity. However, the decision to issue you an entry permit is solely at the discretion of the Malaysian Mission.

I don\’t think that Sarawak is under EMGS. They have a different way of issuing student visas. My friend applied to Curtin university which is in Sarawak and it is a totally different experience than applying through EMGS.

Yes but travel authorization for existing students stranded outside malaysia is given by director general immigration malaysia in KL. So maybe egms plays a role in this ??? I am not sure

Why is your status labelled yellow?
What are the remarks?
Usually those who are required to submit aditional documents are having yellow sign.
