Would recommend confirming with your institution for further steps (or emailimg emgs directly), but if you already have an application for renewal of visa, then you’re good to go

Check if you can get eVisa, otherwise you’ll have to go to Malaysian embassy in your country to apply. If you don’t have an embassy, then there is an alternative, you can check with university/immigration for other options
