My visa application got rejected and I have no idea why. There’s no information on my eVal rejection letter, I didn’t received any e-mails regarding the reasons why my visa got rejected, and there’s no information to be found on the application tracker. EMGS isn’t giving me any information regarding this issue, I have no idea if I can re-apply, if I have to pay for another application or if I can appeal the decision.
This is getting extremely tiresome, I started my visa application in November..
Did anyone encounter the same issue?
Is The rejection from EMGS or immigration dept?
It’s from the immigration dept
Were you a student previously in Malaysia?or it is the first time ever applying for eVAL?
This is my first time applying for a student visa in Malaysia, so it can’t be an issue with attendance
You can appeal, but you have to know the reason for rejection first
Try calling them
Which country did you apply from? Did the immigration request any Document from you?
@Om I’ll call EMGS tomorrow, and I will try to get in touch with immigration directly as well. I will report back.
@Jerry I’m applying from France, immigration did not request any special documents besides the one I gave to EMGS for my application.
I did have to provide EMGS with support letters from both my university in Malaysia (UniKL) and my university in France, because my academic records follow the French grading system.
We are sorry to hear about the rejection of your visa application. 😔
Kindly liaise with your institute to submit a request for the VAL rejection reason. Once we have received the rejection reason, we will send a notification to the institute.
Have a nice day.
Hello, EMGS just gave me the reason for the rejection via an issue update :
PERAKUAN PENDAFTARAN TAMAT 19.02.2023.
This refers to an offer letter that has expired? My offer letter at the time of submission said that my registration date was on the 26th of February.
I will contact my institution with this information and ask them to make an appeal letter with the corrected documents.
