Hello EMGS Officer, my study was postponed to the September 2020 school year because there was a problem with name errors when applying for a visa, so I couldn’t apply for a visa up to 100% and my visa application stopped at 80%, could the percentage be changed to 0% for me to apply for a visa in September 2020 later?

Hi Rafif,
You are required to liaise with your institution and request that they cancel the current VAL, and close the application. Once this is done you will be able to submit the new application for your 2020 intake.

Because it’s not in the hand of EMGS. It’s immigration. There’s no time frame for that as well which is sad.

Lots of student suffer for this. There should be some time frame or feedback procedure.

Hi Rafif,
The processing and approval of VAL correction applications is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department. Kindly note that there is no specific time-frame required to complete the VAL correction process.

Hi Rafif,
If your institution is submitting the application for you, they need to create the application first in order to obtain the actual application fee. Once the application has been created, you can proceed to make the payment and submit the receipt to your institution. Kindly refer to your institution for more details.
