You will get VAL when your application status is 80%. The campus will send it to you by email.
How much time it’s take to reach In 80%?
It depends on your application progress. In my case, it only takes 2 weeks but one of my friend needs 1.5 months to reach 80%.

You should send an email about it to your university and EMGS .
I think you will get it maybe on next week because basically they will send it to you on malaysia’s workday (not in friday or saturday).
It is your university’s job to mail or email you the VAL letter which you can use to apply for Single Entry Visa to Malaysian embassy in your country.
