Please note that as mentioned, at present, the Immigration Department is allowing students to renew their student pass if their pass expired from the 01st of February 2020 onwards and the transfer endorsement process has to be done when you are in Malaysia. We understand that you have renewed your passport and that you are from one of the banned countries. Therefore, we will only be able to further advise you once the ban has been lifted and we receive further instructions on entry for students from banned countries. Secondly, we also understand your concern with regards to the 23 banned countries. However, the decision is solely at the discretion of the Malaysian government.
Since you have renewed your passport, you would have to transfer your student pass from your old passport to your new passport prior to applying for a renewal application.
