Hi EMGS,

I am currently in Malaysia doing my studies.
My current visa will expire on August.
I want to renew my visa but problem is my current passport only has 12 months validity.(not 18 months to apply for visa)
I have already submitted for passport renewal bit its gonna take two or three months because of lockdown in Bangladesh and other working delays related to covid. Therefore, its not in my hand when to get the new passport.
Will there be any issues if i am late a bit after visa expires to apply for new visa.

  Hi Rafshan,
  
  Students are required to renew their student visa before the expiry. Kindly refer to the institution for clarification regarding this matter.

    What it they cant renew because passport due is near and embassy close down because mco,rmco,fmco and all lockdown and dear emgs please provide solution for student that stuck at home country for almost +1 year due to restriction and have expired passport + student pass because all of this event is nature cause and student cannot handle this problem
