I did called and asked EMGS regarding this matter back for few weeks ago, they told me that for the progression visa you don’t need to exit the country an provide the exit stump unless you applied by yourself. For your record, if you applied online by yourself they will ask you to exist, but if the school did it on behalf of you they shouldn’t have asked you to leave.
