I never heard that EMGS charges any fee for medical. Rather it’s a separate payment students pay to one of the EMGS approved medical centers in Malaysia. The medical fee is around MRY 200-300. Please let me know should you have any questions.

Please be informed that if you are applying at a Private Institute, you are required to pay a fee of RM250 excluding 6% GST to your institute for the Post-Arrival Medical Screening which is to be completed within 7 days of your arrival date. The medical screening fee is a part of the total processing fee charged for your application. You are required to attend the medical screening at a Panel Clinic in Malaysia. You may obtain the list of panel clinics by logging into the EMGS website: educationmalaysia.emg.com.my > How to Apply > Medical Screening > List of EMGS Approved Panel Clinics in Malaysia.
However, if you are applying at a Public Institute, you are not required to pay for the Post-Arrival Medical Screening fee as part of the total processing fee charged for your application.
