Dear Emgs ,
I just finished my studies in bachelors and My bachelors student visa is about to expire but I would also want to progress to Masters or postgraduate studies to a different University. But the university wants me to get my official certificate
Is it possible to apply for a special pass to wait for my certificate

Dear Emgs officer
I want to apply for my masters program after ccompletion of my bachelors here in Malaysia .-Do I need to go back to my country and apply ? Or I will receive another viaa because my student visa Will be expiring In Less than a month

You dont have to go back to your country, but make sure ministry of education certify your certificate…make the necessary payment…your institution should advice you on how much you are required to pay. My visa expired in May, I applied for masters program in July.

Hi Desireen,

Please note that if you have completed your course and intend of moving to another level, the institution can apply for a progression application and you can remain in the country during your application process. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.

Dear Emgs
My visa will be expiring on January
However I will like to ask if I can further extend my visa in order to stay till my graduation because I come from far please

Hi Desireen,

Please note that once you have completed your course, you will be required to shorten/cancel your student pass and exit the country. You may check directly with the Immigration Department on this matter.
