Hi Abdullah Afzal,
Once your VAL has been approved and if you are from a country that requires a Single Entry Visa (SEV) to enter Malaysia you are required to proceed to the Malaysian Embassy in your home country and apply for the SEV.
However if you are from a country that does not require the SEV, you can proceed to arrange for your travel…[Read more]

after your student pass finish, you can submit dependent visa via your institution (university)
-
Brother, This is outside of your question. I was wondering how your experience at VFS was or if you’ve submitted your SEV application or perhaps in the process of doing so? I was hoping to hear about your experience. Many thanks
-
Good day sir have u gotten your single entry visa. If yes please how many days does it take and how much do u put in the account u used for the process.
-
Single entry visa takes about 10 days officially although it’s never up to that except there is/are public holiday(s). How much you will put in your account is dependent on your circumstances, whether you are on scholarship or a self sponsored student. But make sure you have enough to cover your first year tuition and living expenses which again…[Read more]

What was your experience like from VFS?
-
Thank you very much for sharing
-
-
Good day Yusuf, no I haven’t gotten my SEV. However, I’m in the process of it. It takes 10 working days and I think your sponsor should provide account information on how he/she intends to fund your education. Perhaps 2-5M should be enough
-
Ok when do u apply for the sev
-
In the process. The first part is to authenticate your documents in Abuja at the Ministry of Education and apply for an eligibility letter at Foreign Affairs. Usually it takes 3 days if you pursue with alacrity. If you’re coming in for BSC it’s advisable you get NDLEA clearance, get your yellow fever card at the port health as you need the lat…[Read more]

Just submit the needed doc any wait but in most cases it does not take long may between 3 t0 7 days that I have seen before working days

7 days working
-
And after 70% it goes directly to 80%? Around how many days?
-
You must first exchange your eVAL to the nearest Malaysian consulate in your country to get an SEV
-
So once its 70% I can download it and get my SEV ? Or do I have to wait for 80%?
-
absolutely, when the percentage show 70% u can downlad eVal via website

It depends on tour college, and for my university, they requested with 5.5 and above. For what i understand, your ielts should not be taken more than 2 years.
-
I see. But you see I got a text saying that IELTS is not entry requirement now. It’s a graduation requirement, so I want to make sure whether this is true or not

Is pre arrival medical required while applying for SEV?
-

Hi Promise,
Please note that we require these documents to be submitted to us upon your arrival in Malaysia. You may liaise with your institution to submit these required documents once you are here.

Yes coming for phd accounting. Need assistance in temp accomodation. Medical. Student pass and guidance on ips registration.

Once you get your sev and ready to travel I can help you with temporary accommodation in the school
-
-
Hi Humble prince, how’s the process for SEV in Abuja? Like the duration in which you got a response. Also, did USM representative meet you at the airport as indicated on the arrival document attached to the eval, IPS registration, accommodation information particularly international student housing, student pass and medicals
-
Sev in Abuja is like 10 days…you don’t need USM representative to meet you at the airport
-
Thank you very much @HumblePrince. How long did it take for NDLEA to give you your clearance? How did you find the SEV experience? Please do share any pertinent information that might provide better insight. Many thanks
-
I didn’t apply for NDLEA clearance. What degree are you coming for because that will determine whether you need NDLEA clearance or not. The SEV experience is fine, no , just make sure you have all your documents
-
I was offered admission to a MSc program. However, the VFS website says NDLEA was required hence my confusion

Also, print the visa application form back to back in single a4 sheet and fill it properly.-
I applied online everything was done in 2days and Emgs clearly mentioned ESev and Normal Sev are valid
