hello EMGS Officer, yesterday i asked if vaccinated students need a travel authorisation.

my problem is i already applied for travel authorisation since last January and it got accepted. but i still haven’t travelled back to Malaysia since my university allowed me to stay in my home country. now it has been 9 months since my travel authorisation got approved but it only lasts for 3 months.

i tried to apply for a new travel authorisation but it couldn’t let me. i gett error message ” you have applied for travel authorisation one (date)”

1-can i use my old travel authorisation to travel to Malaysia? or do i need to renew my it?
2-if i need to renw it, who should i contact to help me with my issue?

  Hey it easy, just email to emgs and ask them to cancel your Travel Authorization then you can apply a new one. You cannot renew it you need to reapply

  The Travel Authorization letter is only valid for 3 months. Hence, you would have to cancel your previous application and reapply a new application.
