Based on the current process, the Malaysian Immigration Department will only allow you to renew your student pass if your current student pass expiry has not lapsed for more than 3 months. Kindly note that you will be required to enter Malaysia on a social visit pass and subsequently obtain the renewed student pass.
@amr_25 You can liaise with your institution and request that they submit your Student Pass renewal application. Upon your arrival in Malaysia, you can hand-in the passport to your institution and request that they submit the passport to EMGS for the Student Pass endorsement. Kindly note that you are required to refer to the Malaysian Embassy in your home country to check if you are required to apply for a Tourist Visa prior to your travel to Malaysia. At present, foreigners are not allowed entry into Malaysia. As such, you need to remain in home country until the travel ban has been lifted.
