Dear Emgs officer,
My name is FENG YIXUAN(My passport number is EK6582943.
My EMGS application number is E#########），a Chinese student who is supposed to study in UM this October.
Unfortunately, my visa is 35% green since 12/9/2023 and pending with immgration department for VAL approval for a month.As a result, I have totally missed the orientation week of UM and I would be EXPELLED by UM cause they have reminded me to arrive as soon as possible.
I’ve already registered in ,paid for the tuition fee,completedmy course selection and confirmed the accommodation arrangment. I’m here writing to you because I am so helpless and hopeless. This dilemma strongly discourage my intellectual curiosity.
Could you please urge the immigration apartment to expedite the review process?
I’m here waiting for your timely response, all of your reply will be highly appreciated.

  We understand your concern. However, we have escalated your application to the Immigration Department to expedite the process. The approval to issue the EVAL is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department. Rest assured, we will notify once the EVAL is approved by the Immigration Department.
