Hello,My name is Koki Kimura and my passport number is MJ1286865. I am in the process of renewing my passport and am 20% green. My current student visa expires on August 22.

I’ll have a domestic trip planned within Malaysia and would like to use Airplane. Travel period is August 9 to August 12.

How long does it take to reach 50% to submit my passport to the university? Also, if I submit my passport after reaching 50% and after the above trip is completed (submitted on 8/12 or 13) is this safe?

  It is best for you to submit the passport before the student pass expires. Kindly liaise with the institute on the timing to submit the passport. As checked, we are currently in the midst of processing your application. Kindly note that there is no stipulated timeframe for the renewal student pass process. Allow us some time to proceed with the application. Any updates will be notified accordingly.
