Dear Officer,

My Application no. is #########.
Since my ticket is on 5th September, it seems that visa might not be approved by then. In this case, is it OK if I visit KL with entry tourist visa for 4-5 days and return to Bangkok, trip will be on 5th – 11th September, will this cause issue/problem to my visa approval. Else I will have to waste this ticket and buy new as it cannot be refunded. Kindly advise. Thank you.

  No u can’t …your student visa will be cancelled automatically. Don’t do that.

  Hi Sasiprapa,
  Kindly note that all international students are required to be in their home country during the VAL application process. Therefore, it is not recommended to enter Malaysia as it will trigger the Immigartion system and may lead to rejection. We advise you to remain in your home country until the VAL is approved by Immigration. Any updates will be notified accordingly.
