I have friends from different countries I got approved to travel and yet I am still waiting for the embassy here to approve the situation even though it says it clearly on your website with references. The official update is available on our website. If the Malaysian Mission requires clarification, they can contact us. If the Malaysian Mission has already reached out to the Government Agencies, then liaise with them to follow-up with the relevant authorities.

I went to Kuwait Malaysian embassy and they told me to wait till 26th for confirmation hope they confirm tomorrow then I can leave this place

If you’re going to the office bring the official announcement with you and show it to them.
I even texted them and they referred me to their website for new rules or regulations and I found that students are allowed.
Let me know if you could process it with them.

I’m in Oman and the embassy here told me you can process to travel back according to the latest update. -
I’m going tomorrow to the embassy face to face to see the issue. I am going with the news and my TA

Dear EMGS,
What airlines are not denied entry to Malaysia now? I just went to Qatar airways and booked on Monday (a day after tomorrow) and they asked me to wait for response from immigration. I waited 30 minutes and they called me saying carry of students still denied by immigration. I have all documents needed. Entry permit since 6th October and…[Read more]-
Don’t book you ticket so soon, try to find a ticket during next week. Last time it took the airline few days to apply the new rules.
I booked my ticket with Emirates airlines, on their website they mentioned that students with visa are allowed, but I have only two flights in a week so I’m forced to book next Friday.

We already released the bulletin stating that existing international students who are not from the 23 banned countries are eligible to return to Malaysia. Kindly liaise with the airline for further assistance. You can advise the airline to refer to our recent bulletin.

1. I have entry permit issued on 6th October and it states I have a month to use it. Can I use it?
2. I have travel authorization.
3. I have LoU signed from 8th to 22nd. Do I need a new one or can I just departure.

Check with the Malaysian embassy they will confirm to you.
My travel permit issued on 4th October and they told me it’s still valid for a month so you can process your journey back.

1. If the entry permit is still valid you can proceed to use it to travel to Malaysia. However, the approval to grant you entry into Malaysia is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department Officers at the point of entry.
