We advise that you refer to University Malaya for more details about when your brother can come to Malaysia. All international students enrolling to study in Malaysia are required to apply for the Student Pass. Your brother will not be able to commence the online classes without the EMGS approval letter.

Please be advised that the SEV requirement is based on Passport Country of Origin. In the case that the applicant is travelling from a country which requires SEV, then they have to apply for Single Entry Visa and provide supporting document such as resident pass to travel from SEV required countries. Hi,
Based on the current process, the Malaysian Immigration Department will only allow you to renew your student pass if your current student pass expiry has not lapsed for more than 3 months. Students will be required to enter Malaysia on a social visit pass and subsequently obtain the renewed student pass.
