      Hi Benaskeur,

      The Student Pass endorsement process takes 14 working days. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department. You can drop an email to enquiry(at)emgs.com.my with your details.

    Hello .. finally my passport is back to emgs with special pass and my application is progressing from 50 to 55% but I see that my application type changed from “renewal” to “null” what does supposed to mean? Thanks for your help!

    My process is 50%, pending since Sep12 at level of waiting for passport submission. I contacted my University that said that my passport was sent to migration for special pass. How long time do you think it will take with immigration to issue the special pass and how to track the progress with them?

      Unfortunately Special Pass applications are not available for tracking. You can drop an email to enquiry(at)emgs.com.my in order to check on the status of your application. Kindly provide your full name and passport number in the email.

Unfortunately our visa unit requires students the submit documents by themselves and generally they take more time than immigration and emgs just to submit and collect passport.     I am PhD student and had two visas already. My actual one will expire on September 17th. I need to go back home for family engagements and then will be back to Malaysia on August yo stay two weeks to submit my visa renewel application.     Hello I am PhD student at UM, I applied for visa renewal since weeks, submitted my documents and paid everything. But since then the visa status is 0% duo to waiting for payment and documents, is this a problem between UM and EMGS? Two weeks for 0% do you think it is okay?
