I don’t think so, bcs I new student and just hv eVISA but the immigration officer asked me to using autogate for stusent.

It means, when u arrive at Malaysia, no need to queue on immigration for passport foreign. You can directly go to autogate (beside immigration for passport foreign) for student, it’s more faster.

Hi same like me, submitted to immigration at 15th Nov and praise to Allah today I got my eVAL, totally 15 working days. But after 10 working days I was emailing EMGS and cc to visa unit of my university for following up. Hopefully u guys will get soon.

Email emgs and explain to them regarding ur issue, provide ur application number and then attach ur passport page as well. I had same issue like u.

It’s depend where u come from.
If ur country can get VOA when arrive in Malaysia, so u just need eVAL only.
For eVISA, u can apply by online.

It’s the same
Single entry visa (sev) can be obtained from online or through embassy.
Now almost all nationalities can get it online (e-visa)

Hi Everyone,
I just applied for a student visa on the EMGS website and I made a mistake.
I had miswritten my name according to the Machine-Readable Zone (MRZ) format. Thus, the name that appears on the form is mistaken, can I correct the name or should I submit a new application?

My institution canceled my application and reapply me… Same case as yours. I don’t think you can edit it.

I mad the same mistake, so I emailed the emgs explaining the issue along with data page of my Passport, and they corrected my name as Passport.
