@wardab Dear EMGS officer, what is the procedure for candidates already in the country? I’m already in Malaysia – I’ve shortened my dependent visa and applied for student visa (now at 15%). I’m worried that my shortened dependent visa will expire before I get the student visa (or has my institution applied for a special pass too, or eVal will work as special pass?) Thank you for your kind attention.

Dear @wardab EMGS officer, how long does it take for the special pass to be issued? I just applied for special pass today through my institution, as my current dependent pass is expiring this week. Hope it will be done quickly to avoid overstay? Thank you for your attention.
