My VAL was recently rejected as well. Upon trying continuously to know the reason, I was jus being told that “it’s confidential”. But if you have a helpful university, it’s better you ask them to appeal again to immigration via EMGS. University have to contact and try to resolve whatever issue there is. University will have to contact you, and if immigration requires extra documents/ photos, provide it asap. My VAL is now processing, after my university appealed. Yet, mine is still not approved.
