I’m renewing my visa here in Malaysia, my university inform me that the emgs will stop the work starting from the next weekend till 6th of September

My VAL application with immigration @ 35% for the second day. Hope it’ll be approved and couriered before holidays.

It’s a waiting game, as long as all your documents are submitted and no problem hopefully it goes smoothly .. but it can take anytime between 2 weeks to 2 months ..

I faced the same problem and my application was cancelled two times, but fortunately it was accepted in the 3rd time (I tried a better photographer and explained to him the photo requirements, in my case the photo background was not white enough to meet the photo requirements)

I contaced UTM as well when submitting my 3rd application and I told them about the problem I was facing. They suggested that I email my new photo to them. I emailed it to them and they offered me help.

So, try an experienced photographer and inform UTM about the problem you’re facing.

and to gain time, ask EMGS if you can email your new photo to them instead of creating a new application, in my case I created a new application but a person here informed me that it was possible to email the photo directly to EMGS. But you should ask EMGS about it. Good luck.

Contact your university another special pass for exit and since you are graduating please clear your university stuff for graduating before leaving
