The SEV is so you can enter the country. Your institution should then process your student/work visa once you arrive. Once you hand your passport to your institution, they’ll give it to the immigration. After the process, you’ll get your passport back along with a multiple-entry student/work visa.
After my arrival I have to leave the country as it is emergency, what is the solution? If passport submitted to the institution, I can’t have my passport for 2-3 weeks, is it possible after I get my SEV, I enter Malaysia on a tourist visa on arrival as I am an Indian passport and then after few days I exit Malaysia and then when I know I have more than 3 weeks to stay in Malaysia I enter with SEV VISA.
We are glad to assist you with your enquiry. However, in order for us to check the application status we would need your full name and passport number. To keep your details private and confidential, please email us at enquiry(at)emgs.com.my and we will assist to advise you accordingly.
