Any platform where us international students can collectively express our grievances directly or indirectly at least, to the immigration department?

But ofcourse you can forward our grievances to the Emigration Department. This sum seems rather very absurd to be charging from students in these difficult times. Please try to come into some arrangements with the Emigration dept for students.

If you submitted your application direct through EMGS, then email them directly as well. If you submitted through university, email to your university, and they will forward to EMGS.

Last time I contacted EMGS (11/09/20, 7:30am), they informed me they hadn’t gotten any circular regarding the lifting of bans yet, and once they did they would start resuming accepting travel authorizations for existing students again.
Anyone knows any update after this?

Hi Adel,

We are still in the midst of clarifying the entry for existing international students from the 23 barred countries, with the relevant authorities. We will notify institutions and students once we have an update.
