You need a representative from your university to come to the airport to bring you through immigration. This means you need to let them know in advance (in my case, it was AT LEAST five working days before arrival). Ask your university about airport clearance arrangements

This is for anyone applying for a Single-Entry Visa in Jakarta.

Go to Menara Palma, 18th floor. You will need:

Photo
Passport
Photocopy of passport info
Visa approval letter
Photocopy of KTP
IDR 878,000

It takes 3 working days

The process to SEV ( single entry visa) must submit in malaysia embassy. Working 3 days and you have to pay Rp. 900. 000

Have you personally visited the visa department at your university? These kind of things, best to ask about in person
