Kindly note that you are required to enter Malaysia within the validity of the Student Pass. We are unable to confirm that you will be granted entry on the 16th of April, as the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.
Passports for students whoses passes expired during the MCO can only be submitted on the 1st of April, subject to the approval by the Immigration Department. Since you are outside of Malaysia and your pass expires during the MCO it is advisable that you refer to your institution.
SEV is important so do go to the Malaysian embassy to get it. You will need to show your VAL, offer letter, passport and possibly need a 2×2 picture when applying for it.
