    I am an international student who is about to complete my studies in Malaysia.

    I am writing to inquire about whether it’s necessary or required to cancel my student visa upon graduation, and if so, what documents are required to complete this process. Additionally, I would appreciate it if you could provide me with information(documents) regarding the steps and timeline for this procedure.

      Hi Harry,

      Please be informed that students are required to shorten the student pass once they have completed their studies in Malaysia before leaving their home country. Students may refer to the institution for further clarification on the required documents to proceed with this request. Cancellations of student passes approximately take 5-7 working days. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.
